What Kinds of Audits do you Offer?

Can I Get Two or More Audits Combined?

Yes, we often combine two or more types of audits to produce one final report.

Are the Audits Restricted to Websites and Online Applications?

No, we can also perform audits on other types of software applications, e.g. PC-based applications, multimedia presentations, etc.

How do you Conduct the Audits?

We conduct each audit the same way - by heuristically reviewing the website or software application and drawing upon our own knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Usability Audits may also contain reports drawn from Usability Testing we have conducted (though this is a separate service).

How do you Deliver the Findings of your Audits?

Our deliverable is an Audit Document. This is essentially a report, listing

Each of the issues we have discovered, ranked by severity
An explanation of the issue (e.g. the W3C accessibility requirement it violates)
Our proposed solution

Along with sending you this document, we will also discuss the report over the phone with you, and generally reply to any follow-up queries you have.

Could You Provide a Sample Report?

Yes, for genuine prospective clients, we may be able to provide a sample report in advance.

Can You Fix the Problems Identified in your Reports?

Yes, we usually can. In fact, many of our new clients engage with us by requesting an audit. When they see the quality of our work, they typically ask us to carry out the required fixes (e.g. re-design a website, or website section).

Sometimes, however, clients hire us as an independent third party, simply to conduct the audits, especially for Usability Audits or Accessibility & Software Compliance Audits.
